Well since i've posted I might as well introduce myself. I go by Zerolink100 and was a member on the old form that never posted. I play SFA with my two 13 year old cousins but they like making their own rulesets and thats how we play. I usually main falco and abuse his speed but can go other characters and do well enough, but my experience is limited to my cousins who aren't nearly as skilled as you guys.

Yeah that would be my natural pick in a set against someone, but with my younger cousins as my opponenets I usually randomize my character to try to give them more of an edge and still end up beating them anyway.
